BadCamera takes many of the beautiful mistakes from analog photography into the digital realm!
Based on three of the most widely known, coveted, and mimicked analog film mistakes out there. We chose first to create the classic Light Leak effect, which is when your film would be exposed to light either by you, or your leaky camera, characterized by hazy orange and yellow hues. Then, we added a Damaged and Expired Film effect, which is just what it says, an effect based on film that has either expired or has been damaged either via the lens or when printed as a negative, usually either a white or very purple dreamy hue. And to round it out, we brought in the Emulsion Leak effect, which is based on the unexposed and damaged parts of pull-apart instant film, you have seen those old family photos with white borders and insides that arent quite exposed!
BUT WAIT THERE IS MORE!
We also added a homage to 90s TV, with our 90s Border effect. It is based on the photo borders found in many of the opening credits from our favorite 90s TV shows. This effect will put you and your friends in the starring role! Time for the 90s to be cool again!
